: In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the work, duties and rights of Pragya Pratishthan shall be as follows :
(a) Formulating policies and programs of Pragya Pratishthan,
(b) collection, preservation, promotion and study, research of music and drama,
(c) To create research and original works related to music and drama genre and to publish such works,
(d) Arranging appreciation, honors and awards for domestic and foreign people who have made significant contributions in the field of music and drama,
(e) To establish libraries, museums, theaters, theaters etc. related to music and drama,
(f) Protection of instruments, musical instruments and musical instruments of various castes and communities of Nepal
(g) To study, research, promote and preserve the original folk tunes, folk dances and folk music of different castes and communities of Nepal,
(h) To introduce Nepali music and theater to the world (i) To arrange scholarships for study and research in music and drama (j) Conducting training programs related to music and drama genres,
(k) Encouraging related associations, organizations and individuals to develop and expand music and theater genres (l) To organize and hold national and international level seminars, workshops, conferences, festivals and competitions in music and drama genres,
(d) To establish and expand relations with associations related to music and theater genres and to exchange mutual cooperation with such associations,
(n) Upliftment and development of folk music and theatrical arts, (s) To carry out other necessary work to fulfill the purpose of this Act.
